We make every effort to see you at your scheduled time and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you arrive late, we may find it necessary to reschedule your appointment to another date and time.
Please arrive ten minutes early to allow time to review your new patient forms, register you in our computer system and answer any questions you might have before you see a doctor.
Your first visit with your doctor is all about helping you confirm and understand your diagnosis and explore treatment options. Your consultation may last 1-2 hours so your doctor has time to listen to your concerns and answer all of your questions. It can be helpful to bring another person with you to your first appointment to take notes and provide support.
Your doctor will never pressure you into making a decision about treatment right away, and will support you no matter your treatment preferences. If you do decide to move forward with treatment at Oregon Urology Institute Radiation Center, your doctor will work closely with you to create a custom treatment plan that fits your needs and lifestyle.
